Rules

These rules keep Bucketry fair and fun for everyone. If you are unsure about something, ask a staff member in game or open a support ticket on the Discord.

General principle: use common sense. If something seems like it could be against the rules but is not listed, assume it may still be off limits.

  1. No griefing. Do not destroy, alter or flood other players’ builds or belongings, claimed or unclaimed. Ask staff before deciding an unclaimed area is fair game.
  2. No advertising or self-promotion. No talking up other servers, posting unrelated links or promoting yourself.
  3. No alternate accounts. Using extra accounts to dodge bans or gain an advantage is not allowed.
  4. No spamming. No repeated messages, excessive caps or other disruptive chat.
  5. Fair play.
    • No cheating or bug abuse. Report exploits and glitches to staff right away. Using them, or sitting on them without reporting, can get you banned.
    • No unfair client mods. X-ray, reach, blink and similar hacks are banned. Minimap and waypoint mods are fine.
  6. Be respectful. Discrimination, slander and toxicity, even subtle, are not tolerated. Mind your tone.
  7. No TP trapping. Do not lure players into teleports that drop them into unavoidable harm.
  8. Play actively. Do not use AFK machines or methods to farm money or resources. (The official AFK pool on Pailhaven’s south quay is fine.)
  9. No mute evasion. Getting around a mute through other channels earns a longer mute or a ban.
  1. Stay on topic. No talk of other servers, unrelated promotion or self-advertising.
  2. Community interaction.
    • Use bot commands responsibly. No spamming or command abuse.
    • Communicate respectfully. No harassment, racism, bigotry, sexism or repeated slander.
  3. Safety and privacy. Do not make other members feel unsafe. Harassing others, especially in direct messages, is strictly prohibited.

Chat is filtered automatically. Slurs earn an instant mute, and profanity builds up warning points that lead to a mute if you keep going.

  • Penalties range from a mute to a permanent ban, including IP bans.
  • Staff can act without warning you first. Leniency once is not permission next time.

Staff may not discuss a ban, especially a serious one. Short bans can sometimes be talked through; severe cases, or players who have been persistently disruptive, will not be.

Thanks for being part of the community and helping keep Bucketry a good place to play.
