The Stable

The Stable keeps the mounts you have tamed safe and ready. Register a mount once, then call it to your side from anywhere with /stable. No more hunting for the horse you left tied up three biomes ago.

Any mount you tamed yourself:

  • Horses, donkeys and mules
  • Skeleton horses and zombie horses
  • Camels and camel husks
  • Nautiluses and zombie nautiluses

Llamas cannot be stabled.

  1. Tame the mount (and saddle it, so you can ride it when it comes back).
  2. Ride it and run /stable add, or press the saddle button in the /stable menu.
  3. It is now in your Stable and stays out as your active mount.

You get 4 berths. When your Stable is full, release a mount to make room.

Open /stable (or /mounts). Each card shows the mount’s type, name, speed, jump height, health and status.

  • Left click a card to call that mount. It appears at your feet and seats you if it has a saddle.
  • Left click the mount that is already out to send it back to the Stable.
  • Shift + right click twice to release a mount for good. It goes back into the world as a normal mount.

Only one mount can be out at a time. Calling another one sends the first back. Saddles, armor, chest contents, names and stats all stay with the mount.

  • Land mounts need solid ground under you. A nautilus needs water.
  • You can call mounts in the main world, Frontier, the resource worlds, and the Nether and End. You cannot call them in Pailhaven, boss arenas, raids, dungeons or The Hunt.
  • Mounts also head home when you log out or change worlds.
  • Only you can ride your summoned mount.
  • You can ride your own mount through other players’ lands, even ones that turn off vehicles for visitors. Lands that ban you from entering still turn you away.
  • Tamed zombie horses do not burn in daylight. Wild ones still do.
