Discord and Help
Stuck, curious or have an idea? Here is where to go.
The Discord
Section titled “The Discord”discord.gg/gX9Q5Sesn5 is the center of the community: announcements, event calls, the suggestions forum, support tickets and plenty of chatter.
- Support tickets are the best way to reach staff about a bug, a lost item or a player problem.
- #updates-survival is where every update is posted first.
- The resource-world alerts channel has a Notify me button if you want a ping when the weekly reset lands.
The Guide
Section titled “The Guide”The Guide, a weathered old sailor, stands by the Quest Guide kiosk on Bucket Square. Click him for a chat menu of common questions, or use /guide anywhere:
/guidelists his topics./guide <topic>answers one, for example/guide claims,/guide fishing,/guide brewingor/guide salvage.
He covers getting started, claims, resource worlds, travel, jobs, the shop, auctions, quests, ranks, vaults, voting and crates, Coins, events, the Dark Auction, sparring, Harbor Contracts, fishing, farming, brewing, salvage, guilds, Fathom mining and the Almanac.
The Ship’s Log: /news
Section titled “The Ship’s Log: /news”Every post in Discord’s #updates-survival also shows up in game. /news lists recent updates, and big ones pop up once when you next join. New posts get a line in chat for everyone online.
Suggestions
Section titled “Suggestions”Got an idea? Bucketry has built a lot of player suggestions, from the 16-layer banner loom to bulk salvage.
/suggestopens a short form in game. On Bedrock, type/suggest <your idea>./suggestionslets you browse ideas and vote on them.- You can also post in the suggestions forum on Discord.
You need 30 minutes of playtime to suggest or vote, and there is a 15-minute wait between suggestions. If your suggestion is marked Implemented, you get the Visionary tag and an Abyssal Crate key.
Mentors
Section titled “Mentors”Veterans at Wavebreaker rank and above can mentor new sailors. When a new player joins, mentors online get a ping and can offer to show them the ropes.

Mentors earn the Deckmate title after their first finished mentee and Old Hand after five. A mentor can have 3 open mentees at a time, and a pairing lapses after 7 days. Players on the same connection cannot pair.
Staff wear a staff banner in chat and the tab list.
