Pinata Pit

Every 40 votes from the server summon a pinata, and it lands in the Pinata Pit, a festival plaza built just for it. /pinata takes you to the balcony above the pit. Only votes cast while you are online count toward the next one; the sidebar shows how close it is. See Voting.

How a party plays out

When the vote count fills, a 30-second countdown starts with a boss bar and a click-to-warp link in chat.
The round type is announced.
The pinata lands. Hit it as many times as you can before it breaks. Its health scales with how many players are online.
When it breaks, fireworks go off and everyone who hit it gets the party rewards.

The pinata fights back: it can teleport, knock nearby players back, launch players into the air, shrink for a few seconds, or give itself a burst of speed.

Round types

Round	What changes
Classic	Smash the pinata.
Blindfold	You are blinded and can only see its glow. Less health.
Stampede	It is fast. Chase it down. Less health.
Split	Crack it to half health and it bursts into three mini pinatas.

The same round type never comes up twice in a row.

Prizes

Every hit has a chance at a small prize: Emeralds, a Diamond, a mystery enchantment scroll, a Tide Crate key or Netherite Scrap.

When it breaks, everyone who hit it gets:

A Rare enchantment book, a Tide Crate key, $10,000, 30 minutes of flight and a White Scroll.
