Wandering Peddler
Barnaby Wick is a wandering peddler who rows up to your land once a day with a little stock just for you. Nobody else can see him or buy from him.
When and where he turns up
Section titled “When and where he turns up”- Spend a little time (1 to 4 minutes, added up over the day) on a land you own or crew on, and Barnaby arrives near your land’s spawn.
- No land yet? He ties up at the Pailhaven fishing jetty instead when you are nearby.
- He stays until the daily reset at 6:00 AM Chicago time, then sails on and comes back the next day.
/peddlertells you where he is waiting and until when. If you log in while he is waiting, you get a reminder.
His stock
Section titled “His stock”Every visit he brings five items, sometimes six, rolled fresh for you:

The rare slot starts at a 20% chance and goes up with every Favor you earn (see below), up to five Favors. Buying anything priced at $50,000 or more asks you to click twice to confirm.
His requests
Section titled “His requests”Each visit Barnaby asks for one batch of plain, unrenamed vanilla items, all things you find out in the world rather than in /shop. Bring them and he pays you, and you earn a Favor, which improves your odds at a rare item.
A few things he asks for: prismarine crystals, nautilus shells, glow ink sacs, amethyst shards, honeycomb, echo shards, ghast tears, blaze rods, turtle and armadillo scutes, phantom membranes, torchflower seeds, pitcher pods and wither skeleton skulls. Rarer items pay much more each.
