Joining the Server
Bucketry is open to both Java and Bedrock players. You land in the same world either way.
Server address
Section titled “Server address”| Edition | Address | Port |
|---|---|---|
| Java | mc.bucketry.net | default (leave blank) |
| Bedrock | mc.bucketry.net | 19132 |
- Open Minecraft and go to Multiplayer, then Add Server.
- Enter
mc.bucketry.netas the address. - Join.
Survival runs on Java 26.3. That is the version we recommend. Other recent versions can often connect, but some blocks, items and menus only look right on 26.3.
Bedrock
Section titled “Bedrock”- Go to Play, then the Servers tab, then Add Server.
- Address
mc.bucketry.net, port19132. - Join. You do not need a Java account.
Bedrock works on phones, consoles and Windows. Some custom items show up as their plain vanilla look on Bedrock, and a few menus open as forms instead of chests. Everything still works.
The resource pack
Section titled “The resource pack”When you join on Java you get asked to download a small texture pack. It draws Bucketry’s custom items, menu art, icons, rank banners and NPC models.
- Recommended: accept it. Menus, trinkets, custom gear and a lot of the town look much better with it.
- Optional: you can decline and still play everything. You will just see vanilla items in places.
If you declined and change your mind, edit the server in your list, set Server Resource Packs to Enabled, and rejoin.
Other servers
Section titled “Other servers”/servers opens the server selector once you are in. Survival is the main server; see Other Servers for the rest.
Trouble connecting?
Section titled “Trouble connecting?”- Double check the address is
mc.bucketry.netwith nowwworhttps. - On Bedrock, make sure the port is
19132. - Check the Discord for maintenance or restart notices. Survival restarts once a day.
