Seasons

Bucketry runs through Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Each season changes the world around you: how crops grow, the temperature, the colors of the land, and which perks you can use. Seasons turn on their own.

Type /season for the painted season overview: the current season and day, when the next one starts, the live temperature, the moon phase and which crops are in season.

  • Crops. Each crop has seasons it likes. In season it grows well; out of season it struggles. /season lists what is in season now.
  • Temperature. Each season (and time of day, and where you stand) has a temperature. Dress for it in Winter.
  • The look of the world. Grass, leaves and water shift with the season. Winter water frosts over (you can still use your waterways).
  • Seasonal events. Each season has a festival for a few days: the Spring Equinox (fast growth, blooming flowers, more baby animals), the Summer Solstice (better crop yields, bonus XP, longer days), the Harvest Festival in Fall (bigger harvests) and the Winter Solstice (frost and ice).
  • The moon. The moon goes through its phases on its own cycle, and each phase has an effect. /season shows the current phase.
  • The Gobbler turns up in Fall. See Bosses.

Season 5 timeline from August 2026 to April 2027 with Harvestwake, its story chapters, Hollow Week, trick-or-treat and the weekend giveaways, plus the four in-game seasons and their festival days

Bucketry’s current fall event is Harvestwake, running until November 30. It brings the Harvestwake Crate and cosmetics, and the nightly Hollow Captain boss.

Doing seasonal things (farming in Spring, fighting in Summer, harvesting in Fall and so on) earns seasonal XP for the current season. Each season has its own level, from 0 to 50.

The server reset every season level to 0 on September 30, 2026, so everyone starts the ladder together.

Fair play: breaking blocks you placed yourself earns nothing (fully grown crops are fine), and each kind of action has a daily cap.

Perks only work during their own season. Titles and charms are yours for good.

The level 50 charms are trinkets, and level 50 also unlocks your talisman slot. The first player to master each season is announced to the server and recorded in the Hall of Firsts.

Each season posts 3 goals drawn from a pool for that season, such as Plant 64 crops, Catch 12 fish, Smelt 48 items or Trade with villagers 5 times. Check /season for the current goals.
