Harvest farming
Harvest adds custom crops and cooking to Bucketry. Grow tomatoes, corn, rice and coffee, cook them into meals at a Harbor Kitchen, and deliver those meals to paid orders. It is a relaxed, steady income that fits around everything else.

Start with /harvest, which opens your Garden Journal. Claim the free starter basket there (seeds of each crop, compost, a Harbor Kitchen, a hoe and a water bucket). The journal always shows your next step, and /harvest guide explains it.
Growing
Section titled “Growing”Plant seeds on moist farmland, just like wheat. Look at a crop to see its progress, or use /harvest inspect for the full report: growth, anything blocking it (light, water, soil), compost and season bonuses and your quality odds.
| Crop | After harvest |
|---|---|
| Tomato | Keeps growing: pick again without replanting |
| Corn | Returns a seed to replant |
| Rice | Returns a seed to replant |
| Coffee | Keeps growing, likes the fall |
- A crop takes about 3 minutes to grow.
- Compost speeds it up by 25%, adds one extra produce and raises the quality chance. Make compost in the kitchen or with
/harvest compost. - A crop in its favorite season grows 20% faster.
- You can have up to 128 Harvest crops planted.
- More seeds come from the wild: breaking short grass, small ferns and short seagrass can drop them. Coffee seedlings turn up in cocoa and jungle leaves.
Quality
Section titled “Quality”Every picked item has a chance to come out Quality: 10% base, +25% with compost, +15% in season (50% at most). Quality produce cooks into Quality meals, which fill you up more and are worth more to buyers.
Cooking
Section titled “Cooking”Right-click a Harbor Kitchen and pick a recipe. The menu shows what you have and what you are missing, then you press Start and collect the meal when the timer runs out. Switch between Normal and Quality cooking with the button in the menu.
| Meal | Cook time | How to unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Steamed Rice | 10 s | Start |
| Garden Salad | 15 s | Start |
| Cornbread | 20 s | Start |
| Tomato Soup | 25 s | Collect your first cooked meal |
| Harbor Fish Stew | 35 s | Complete your first order |
| Harvest Supper | 45 s | Complete an order and harvest tomato, corn and rice yourself |
The kitchen also has a separate compost slot and a Cafe page for roasting coffee beans and making drinks. You can place your own kitchen anywhere you can build, and pick it back up with a pickaxe once it is empty.
Orders: where the money is
Section titled “Orders: where the money is”/harvest orders shows three kitchen orders and one premium order. Each order wants two servings of a meal, pays once per player per rotation, and the board rotates every 6 hours.
| Meal | Order pays |
|---|---|
| Steamed Rice | $5,000 |
| Garden Salad | $8,000 |
| Cornbread | $10,000 |
| Tomato Soup | $15,000 |
| Harbor Fish Stew | $25,000 |
| Harvest Supper | $40,000 |
The premium order asks for two Quality servings and pays double, plus extra seeds and compost. A Morning Rush coffee order pays $5,000 to $15,000 depending on the drink.
Harvest also feeds your other income:
- The Farmer Charter pays for every Harvest crop and every delivered order, and the Chef pays for every meal you cook.
- The House Crew buys Quality meals on the Auction House: up to $4,000 per Harvest Supper.
- The Coastal Farming quests in
/questshave a Harvest chain and repeatable crop contracts.
The Greengrocer’s Allotment
Section titled “The Greengrocer’s Allotment”No farm yet? The Greengrocer’s Allotment at the Bay Head is a shared tutorial farm. Take any free plot (up to 6 crops each) and cook in the potting shed’s kitchen. Plots you leave idle for a day are freed for someone else. /harvest allotment takes you there, and the Greengrocer starts the Harvest quests.
Sea salt and Ship’s Jerky
Section titled “Sea salt and Ship’s Jerky”Make a salt pan with /harvest saltpan and place it outdoors. Fill it with a bucket of seawater from an ocean or beach, and leave it in daylight under open sky for about 15 minutes to get 4 Sea Salt. Rain spoils an evaporating pan, so watch the weather. You can run up to 8 pans.
Sea Salt cures Ship’s Jerky: 4 rotten flesh and 1 sea salt make 4 jerky. The Purser’s Provisions order on the orders board takes 16 jerky once a week for $15,000.
