Elevators, portals and XP bottles
A few small tools that make a base nicer to live in.
Elevators
Section titled “Elevators”Elevators let you move between floors without stairs or ladders.
- Place a Redstone Block, then put any block on top of it. That block is your elevator floor.
- Build another one directly above or below, up to 40 blocks away.
- Stand on the top block and jump to go up a floor, or sneak to go down.
A boss bar shows which floor you are on. Torches, signs, buttons, levers and banners between floors do not block the elevator, so you can decorate the shaft.
Elevators work in the Claiming World and the Frontier. Pailhaven’s Bucket Lift is one, if you want to try it.
Portals
Section titled “Portals”The Portal Creator Wand builds small linked portals for getting around a big base. Buy it in /shop under Special Utilities for $100,000 (1 every 48 hours).
- Right-click a target to build a portal there. It uses 1 center block plus 8 frame blocks from your inventory.
- Left-click to preview the outline first.
- Sneak + right-click cycles the block combination; sneak + left-click switches between Build and Detect mode (Detect checks a 3 by 3 frame you built yourself).
/portal wand list,/portal wand setand/portal wand modemanage it from chat.
Linked portals must be in the same world and within 500 blocks of each other. Each portal has a 3 second cooldown.
XP bottles
Section titled “XP bottles”From Diver rank you can store your experience in bottles with /bottle, so you can save levels for later or hand them to a friend.
/bottle get <amount>(or/bottle get max) turns your XP into Bottles o’ Enchanting. Each bottle takes 10 XP points and costs $3.25./bottle store <amount>(or/bottle store max) packs a chosen amount of XP into a single bottle. Its lore shows how much XP is stored inside.- Throw or use a bottle to get the XP back.
