# Jobs

Jobs reward you for performing activities you may already enjoy, such as gathering resources, farming, fishing, crafting, building, trading, brewing, exploring, or fighting mobs.

## Getting started

Use `/jobs` to open the current Jobs interface and command help. Review the available jobs, their supported actions, and their payout information before joining.

As you perform a job's activities, you can earn job experience and money. Different jobs reward different actions, so choose work that matches how you normally play.

## Choosing jobs

* Check which actions a job pays before joining it.
* Compare the current payout information in-game.
* Combine jobs whose activities naturally overlap with your projects.
* Review your job progress regularly as you level.

## Boosts

The weekly schedule applies a 2x experience and money boost to the following jobs:

| Day | Boosted jobs |
| ------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Monday | Lumberjack, Miner, Excavator |
| Tuesday | Farmer, Hunter, Fisher, Chef |
| Wednesday | Blacksmith, Enchanter |
| Thursday | Explorer, Artisan, Demolition Engineer |
| Friday | Villager Trader, Brewer, Beastmaster |
| Saturday and Sunday | All jobs |

Temporary events may add or override boosts. Check in-game information and server announcements for special events.

Job payouts are one part of the economy. Quests, server shops, fishing, mining, and player trading provide additional income routes.
