# Marriage

The marriage plugin on Bucketry offers a fun and unique way for players to connect by allowing you to link two players together in holy matrimony.

#### 🤔 How Do You Get Married?

To link yourself with your Minecraft partner, follow these steps:

1. **Find a Partner:**\
   Choose someone you are familiar with and compatible with on the server before proposing.
2. **Contact a Staff Member:**\
   Request to be married. Follow the staff member's instructions, as they will announce the warp location for the ceremony.
3. **Confirm the Marriage:**\
   The staff member will ask: "Do you, `<Player 1>`, wish to marry `<Player 2>` on this server?"
   * To accept the marriage, type `/marry accept`.
   * To deny, type `/marry deny`.
4. **Divorce:**\
   Should you wish to divorce, notify a staff member to proceed.

#### 🎯 What's the Point?

Once married, you can access special commands and features. Type `/marry help` to see all available commands between you and your partner. (Note: Hold your crouch key and right-click to kiss your partner instead of using `/marry kiss`.)

  Chat privately with your partner.
* **🙏 Marry Players Through a Priest (Admin):**\
  Official ceremonies conducted by an admin.
* **⚔️ Enable/Disable PvP:**\
  Control PvP settings with your partner.
* **💋 Kiss Your Partner:**\
  With added particle effects.
* **🎁 Gift Items:**\
  Send items directly to your partner.
* **👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 View All Married Couples:**\
  Check out who else is married.
* **📝 Chat Prefix and Surnames:**\
  Display your marital status and shared surname.
